Shed 10 Shows True Colours

Friday morning, 8:15 am. Apparently the roads were deserted.

Race 6 of America's Cup kicks off, and people gather in Shed 10 on Auckland's Queens Wharf for fun...
Toyotas were there....

Lots of big cushions, a few throw rugs on the concrete floor...
And it was exciting.
Dean Barker got off to a bad start....
But then it got back to business as usual, time for a bit of texting for some, but still a close race...
Gripping...
...and then we passed Oracle, delight all round...
It was big crowd. Coffee served down the back. If the queue got too long there was another one going inside the Cloud which was hosting a large fitness class on what looked like a hundred exercycles....
The big screen and sound worked well...
Red Socks on sale - delight from the Emirates sponsors...
Glad to see the Queens Wharf armchairs wheeled in for all us arm chair experts too...
Another race in the bag...
The kiwi crowd on TV merge with the kiwi crowd in Shed 10.
Good for Auckland.
Good for NZ.
